Katim Speaks
Romans 10:9-10 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

SO HAPPY JESUS IS THE PROMISE KEEPER!
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom; Your rule is for all generations. The Lord is faithful in all His words and gracious in all His actions Psalm 145:13 I wanted to look at how God keeps all of His promises. Let’s look at the story of Noah found in Genesis 6:9-21 9 This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. 10 Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth. 11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. 12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13 So God…

THIS TOO SHALL PASS!
This Too Shall Pass is a familiar phrase some of us have heard many times. People can relate to this statement during times of having experienced a long and troubling situation only to see the situation pass. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 2 Corinthians 4:17 This is why we don’t want to fixate on the “problem/problems” so much. What we want to do is pray without ceasing and remember that God keeps all of His promises. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all…

WIN!
I wanted to talk to you today about winning. As Christians we should approach each battle we face expecting to win, because we have already won through our relationship with Christ. The bible says that… Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. Psalm 20:7 When David went to defeat Goliath, he understood that although God blessed him with skills, it was God who was the source behind his power and strength. As a Christian we should remember that our relationship with Jesus is a relationship destined for victory when we put our trust in Him. Deuteronomy 20:4 4 For…

REJECTION
Today I wanted to talk about rejection. The bible tells us that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. As Christians, rejection can come in many forms and from many places. Sometimes God will use rejection as protection for you. So, when we receive the no remember that it could be God’s way of saying that He has something better in mind for you. Enduring rejection requires perseverance and confidence in God’s Word. It’s also a matter of not being weary in well doing, knowing we shall reap if we faint not. Rejection is hard but we…

KEEP BUILDING!
Today I wanted to talk to you about building and more specifically that we “keep Building” when God gives us an assignment. As a Christian, God may give you specific assignments and or lay things on your heart to help other people throughout your life. Our Christianity and salvation are not just reserved for us to sit and come to church on Sundays and go home. God wants us to help those that are in need. One of my favorite bible stories is the account of Nehemiah rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Let’s look at Nehemiah 2:17- Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in,…

WHAT TIME IS IT?
God speaks of time in many ways throughout the bible. I love knowing what the time is especially as it relates to planning my day or activities. 2 Peter 3:8-But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. Psalm 90:12-So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. Ephesians 5:16-Making the best of time, because the days are evil. We receive an even better understanding of time in the passage of ECCLESIATES 3:1-8 3 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose…

GET EXCITED! GREATER WORKS SHALL YOU DO!
As a Christian you are empowered to do great things for the kingdom of God! Let’s take a look at the book of John… John 14:7-12 7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father…

SO DELIGHTED TO BE BUILT TO LAST!
When building a skyscraper or house, it is important to consider the foundation. If the foundation is cracked or faulty this will comprise the structure’s ability to stand. Things will be uneven, and parts of the structure may begin to separate. Luke 14:28 For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? God is very detailed about building. We see physical examples of that in the Old Testament where He gave instructions and dimensions on how certain things were to be built. He is also detailed about building us up. God want us to…

MIRACLE WORKER AND WE ARE GRATEFUL!
Matthew 14:14-35 Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand 14 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick. 15 As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.” 16 Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” I love that Jesus is here on the scene ready to do the work God called Him to do. In addition to this, He started to meet the people’s basic human needs in the way of healing…

PAYING IT FORWARD
As some of us know, paying it forward is an act of receiving a kind gesture from someone and then blessing someone else the way that you were blessed or blessing someone in another way. Paying it forward can take many forms. How can we pay it forward? We can do this through helping people, encouraging one another, giving to those less fortunate. There are SO many ways! Hebrews 13:16 16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. Hebrews 6:10 10 God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped…
