As a Christian you are empowered to do great things for the kingdom of God! Let’s take a look at the book of John…
7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
Call to me and I will answer you and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad.
To have a relationship with Jesus Christ, let’s look at Romans 10:9
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
And these signs will accompany those who believe in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
We need to know that we have POWER in Jesus’ Name. We want to continue in prayer throughout the day. When we see something “wrong” whether in the natural or through discernment, we need to act! We use our weapons of prayer, fasting and reading the bible. Sometimes, this will go against the status quo. As Christians we are to make disciples of Jesus Christ and help others!
Matthew 28:19
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

2 Corinthians 12:9
