WHAT TIME IS IT?

God speaks of time in many ways throughout the bible.

I love knowing what the time is especially as it relates to planning my day or activities.

2 Peter 3:8-But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Psalm 90:12-So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.

Ephesians 5:16-Making the best of time, because the days are evil. We receive an even better understanding of time in the passage of

ECCLESIATES 3:1-8

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.https://katimspeaks.com/if-you-were-to-die-today-2/

Jeremiah 1:5-Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

Jeremiah 29:11-For I know the plans, declares The Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Hebrews 9:27-And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.

Ecclesiastes 9:5-For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.

I Corinthians 3:6-8-I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So, then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth, but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;-James 4:9-Be afflicted and  mourn and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to heaviness. Sometimes there will be things that come into our life that will cause us to become sad and even mourn. We should take time to do this but not mourn without having hope. Psalm 30:11-You turned my mourning into dancing.

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; Job 1:21-Naked I came from my mother’s womb and naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be The Name of The Lord.

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;-James 1:19-Everyone should be quick to listen slow to speak and slow to become angry. https://katimspeaks.com/freedom-from-anger/-When it’s time to speak remember Luke 12:11-12. When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say. For The Holy Spirit will give you the words to say at the moment when you need them.

A time to love,https://katimspeaks.com/love/ and a time to hate; I John 4:8-Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.  Psalm 97:10 says let those who love The Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the land of the wicked.—-a time of war, and a time of peace.-Psalm 144:1-Praise be to The Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle. Exodus 15:3-The Lord is a warrior; The Lord is His Name. 2 Thessalonians 3:16-Now may The Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
