EFFECTUAL, FERVENT PRAYERS
James 5:16
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
2 timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Mark 11:25
And whenever you stand praying, forgive if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
We can enter into prayer with intensity and confidence knowing that God will fight for us!
It is important to remember: 1 Thessalonians 5:17 -Pray without ceasing
I Peter 5:8: Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Lastly, when we don’t know what to pray for…
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And He who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
