AUTHORITY
Romans 10:9
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
SALVATION
If you believe Romans 10:9 and have confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you are saved! Congratulations! This is the best decision for your life! As a result of this salvation, you now receive authority and power from God through His Son Jesus. You also should tell other people about how they can be saved so that they too will be free. Reading the bible will help you grow as a Christian. Let’s look at what God has given us authority to do!
Luke 10:19
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
YOUR AUTHORITY
And these signs will accompany those who believe in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Remember, we have POWER in Jesus’ Name! Make prayer a priority throughout the day. (PRAY BLOG) https://katimspeaks.com/?p=158 When we see something “wrong” whether in the natural or through discernment, we need to act! Sometimes, this will go against the status quo. We use our weapons of prayer, fasting and reading the bible. As Christians, we are to make disciples of Jesus Christ and help others. Let’s look at the book of Acts.

Acts 16:16-34
Paul and Silas in Prison
16 One day as we were going down to the place of prayer, we met a slave girl who had a spirit that enabled her to tell the future. She earned a lot of money for her masters by telling fortunes. 17 She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, and they have come to tell you how to be saved.”
18 This went on day after day until Paul got so exasperated that he turned and said to the demon within her, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And instantly it left her.
19 Her masters’ hopes of wealth were now shattered, so they grabbed Paul and Silas and dragged them before the authorities at the marketplace. 20 “The whole city is in an uproar because of these Jews!” they shouted to the city officials. 21 “They are teaching customs that are illegal for us Romans to practice.”
22 A mob quickly formed against Paul and Silas, and the city officials ordered them stripped and beaten with wooden rods. 23 They were severely beaten, and then they were thrown into prison. The jailer was ordered to make sure they didn’t escape. 24 So the jailer put them into the inner dungeon and clamped their feet in the stocks.
Now *Spoiler alert*! At midnight, Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises to God and eventually they were released. You should read the rest of this chapter, but the sergeant of the jail was saved, and his household was blessed.
If Paul had not used his authority, the young lady would have remained oppressed and exploited by her handlers. Not only that, she would have continued to have been harassed by the demon inside of her, the sergeant would not have been saved and his household would not have received their blessings.
So we need to remember our Authority in Christ!
Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for He who is in You is greater than He who is in the world.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
So that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God The Father.
