HOW TO DEFEAT THE ENEMY SPIRITUALLY
The Devil has already lost! He is a defeated enemy. This is not stopping him from attacking you. He is bitter because he lost his seat in heaven and you (those that have accepted Christ) will be able to go to heaven and you have forgiveness of sin. He hates you because of that. He knows what Heaven is like and knows that he can never go back and so he doesn’t want you to go.
With that said, it is still wise to know his tactics and the ways in which he operates.

With that said, it is still wise to know his tactics and the ways in which he operates. The devil is fighting you, but He’s fighting you to get back at God. This is a war between two worlds. Often, the enemy is hiding in plain sight. Giving us small doses of his poison. Small doses like… horoscopes, witchcraft, crystals, etc. He is presenting these things as being harmless. These things are not harmless. These things are often presented in movies, music, and social media. The bible talks about the very elect being deceived, because often the enemy’s tactics and agendas are not overt but are hidden in plain sight.
Therefore, we must screen and monitor the types of books, videos, and games they are exposed to. Witchcraft, new age, sorcery, magics…. these things are not new. If fact the bible says that there is nothing new under the sun. It’s not new.
Deuteronomy 18:10-14- 10 There shall not be found among you anyone that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
13 Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.
14 For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
If you have participated in witchcraft, sorcery, horoscope reading, psychics, etc. you want to renounce these things and ask God for forgiven and protection.
SALVATION
Your salvation is imperative for successful spiritual warfare. If you have not made this confession, you can today. Romans 10:9-10–9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD
Ephesians 6:10-18-Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
1.The Belt of Truth: The truth will make you free. The devil is the father of lies. God’s Word is true. John 14:6 tells us that Jesus is the Way, The and the Light. No one comes to The Father except through Me.
2. The Breastplate of Righteousness: We can protect ourselves by obeying God’s laws.
3. The Gospel of Peace: The Good News of forgiveness gives us peace. When we worry, we lose peace. That’s why we are not to worry but to pray without ceasing and cast our cares on The Lord for He cares for us.
4. The Shield of Faith: Faith cometh by Hearing and hearing by The Word of God.
5. The Helmet of Salvation: We place our faith Jesus because of His finished work on the cross.
6. The Sword of the Spirit: The Sword of The Spirit which is The Word of God. A sword is a weapon that is defensive and offensive. When we are troubled, oppressed, persecuted for righteousness sake and tempted, our response should be The Word of God.
When we talk about the full armor of God, we are talking about our protection for spiritual battle. When we’re talking about “for we wrestle not against flesh and blood”
the word wrestle is used here for a reason.
Our battle is “up close and personal”. In fact, we you think about a wrestling match you notice that not only is it close in proximity, but the struggle that is involved is at each turn.
Let’s look at David, even though David did not “wrestle” physically with Goliath, he is an excellent example of how to use your spiritual weapons: I Samuel 17:45- David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
We need both power and authority of The Lord to fight the enemy.
Acts 19:11-20
11God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, 12so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured, and the evil spirits left them.
13Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” 14Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” 16Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.
17When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. 18Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done. 19A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. 20In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.
THE DEVIL IS ORGANIZED
Although he is the “author of confusion” he also capable of being very organized.
Please remember that he is not ‘everywhere’ at the same time, but he does have a chain of command. He is strategic in working against you.
He is also an agent of darkness and secrets so you may have noticed that some people may have information about you or may tell you personal things that you have not shared with them. This is an attempt to initiate you into the “dark world”. Yes, they will even approach Christians. This is on purpose. This is because this is a secret society hiding in plain sight.

Fasting- “The kind goeth out by prayer and fasting.” This was Jesus telling the disciples basically that there are some demons that are stubborn and require more spiritually strengthen to depart.
Pray-over your home-There are Christian prayers online and videos that you can watch for further instruction about praying over your home. Just make sure that the instruction is coming from a Christian source.
Anoint your home, yourself and children-1st-Take oil and pray over it-In the Name of Jesus, God please bless this oil with your anointing and power. Lord, please let this oil carry Your presence. I pray that this oil would carry Your protection, healing, and deliverance in The Name of Jesus. I plead The Blood of Jesus over this oil. This oil is a symbol of my faith. I know that the true anointing and power comes from You. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
After you have done this, you want to go to every room in the house and anoint all doors, windows, and mirrors. Yes, these things can be portals and points of contact for people that operate in the occult, so you want to protect yourselves by anointing those too. You want to anoint these items in the shape of a cross. You can do the doors and the door post. Don’t forget the garage doors and windows and the basement doors and windows. Also, I would take some of the oil and pour it on the land area on which your home or apartment sits. If you have a yard, pour it over the front yard and backyard too.
