JOY!!!
The bible tells us that “the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
We always want to tap into the joy of the Lord. His joy is available to strengthen us daily! We should be intentional in choosing joy. It’s so easy to run with our emotions and let them dictate how we feel. Even on our “not so great days” we can interrupt that feeling by remembering that we have the joy of the Lord!
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed.
A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Isaiah 61:3)
When we praise God we invite His presence. In His presence we receive breakthrough and healing. Praise and worship is the environment in which we can experience joy and a lifting of burdens!
For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the expectation of the wicked will perish.
But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you.
Therefore, my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure.
Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his place.
Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
If you would like a relationship with Jesus Christ remember John 3:16.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
