COME OUT!
Sometimes in life we find ourselves in patterns and cycles of sin. These patterns may have recently surfaced or they could have begun in our youth. Regardless of when they started, today, we want to break this cycle in Jesus’ Name, come out from among them and start new!
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
If you are someone who is habitually jealous, a thief, a drug dealer, sex trafficker, abuser, liar, practicing sorcery, voodoo and hoodoo, witchcraft, psychics, adulterer, fornicator, homosexual, drug addict, I didn’t name them all, but whatever it is for you, let it go. These sins while may seem enjoyable at the moment, are fleeting pleasures with dire consequences spiritual and physically.
Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death.
Whoever oppresses the poor to increase his own wealth, or gives to the rich, will only come to poverty.
Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, but afterward his mouth will be full of gravel.
Whoever is greedy for unjust gain troubles his own household, but he who hates bribes will live.
The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry, but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.
Hebrews 12:1
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
Everyone is born into sin and shaped in iniquity. This is why we should be born “again”.
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God. By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.
Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
A ruler who lacks understanding is a cruel oppressor, but he who hates unjust gain will prolong his days.
Revelations 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
