Enemies
I’m sure we could all speak at length about the topic regarding enemies. In my opinion, it seems like a person can acquire enemies in at least two ways. One way, is consistently antagonize someone. This behavior will automatically draw enemies to you. The other way we acquire enemies is through doing good or standing up for something that is right. Today, I wanted to talk about having enemies when you are trying to do what is right.
We must remember who the REAL enemy is. A lot of times we have suffered at the hands of “people” but really it is a spirit or spirits inside of the person using them to frustrate and hurt you. We must separate the two and understand (Ephesians 6:12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Let’s take a look at what the bible says about our foes.
Psalm 38:19-But my enemies are vigorous and strong, and many are those who hate me wrongfully.
Psalm 35:19-Do not let those who are wrongfully my enemies rejoice over me; nor let those who hate me without cause wink maliciously.
Psalm 69:4
Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head.
Those who would destroy me are powerful, being wrongfully my enemies.
What I did not steal, I then have to restore.

HOW DOES GOD DEAL WITH OUR FOES?
Psalms 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Isaiah 54:17
No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD.
17 Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice,
I Corinthians 10:12
Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.
